Interfaith

I believe that incorporating musical contributions from diverse faiths is a key approach to cultivating unity.

We live in a world where we have the privilege to encounter a plurality of faiths, and this requires interfaith collaboration. Conflicts between adherents of different faiths remain pervasive worldwide, and religion can be a powerful factor in the struggle for peace and reconciliation. To engage communities in successful dialogue, leaders and organizations are seeking creative approaches to improve interfaith relationships and understanding.

I believe that incorporating musical contributions from diverse faiths is a key approach to cultivating unity. Interfaith music has the potential to convey fresh dimensions of understanding; to address interfaith social concerns; to create a dialogue of common experience; to raise up an individual within the context of a tradition; and to display artistically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually the potential of interfaith collaboration to help build peaceful co-existence.

Through collaborative performance, teaching, and creation we discover the love and truths that bind us all.
